Since joining J.J. Ruddy Insurance in 1993 Ed has been dedicated to constantly improving the service delivery at J.J. Ruddy. A firm believer in “continuous improvement”, Ed leverages operational efficiencies, training, and technology to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Ed focuses the majority of his time in the property casualty and risk management arena. His primary role includes managing the personal lines division and the agency operations.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Ed joined the Medford Rotary Club in 1994. Since then he has served in various capacities including the Club Secretary for 11 years and a member of the Board of Directors for 12 years. In 2004, the Medford Rotary Club presented Ed with the Paul Harris Fellow, recognizing his many contributions as a Rotarian. Ed is also a Corporator at Hallmark Health Systems where he serves on the Audit and Compliance Committee.
Ed earned a BS degree in Finance from Providence College in 1993 and his MBA from Bentley University in 2007. Ed has a number of industry designations including the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Certified Risk Manager (CRM), and Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR).
